Wayland marching band does Hastings Invitational

The Wayland High School marching band Saturday afternoon took part in the Hastings Invitational. Director Kellie Tilly-Smith reported the scores were 254 for music performance, 161 for marching performance, 168 for percussion and 169 for auxiliary. She indicated the band’s overall average score was 83. The WHS band this year is doing music from “The Greatest Showman.”
