Keith Vandenberg of Wayland has been nominated for the Building Bridges Award by the West Michigan Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
This award is given annually to a non-Hispanic community member who has advocated on behalf of people of Hispanic descent.
Keith, a member of the United Church of Wayland, is very active in the Hispanic community. He also established Erhardt Construction’s Mentor-Protege agreement program in 2004. Through the program, he has teamed with several minority-owned subcontractors to provide guidance in various areas of business. Topics have ranged from estimating and plan reading, to financial planning and business plans, to insurance and bonding requirements.
