Christmas is a little more than three weeks away and the communities of Martin and Wayland held their pre-holiday season celebrations Saturday morning and afternoon. Wayland’s annual parade feature Grand Marshals Roger and Mary Jane Merren and (cover photo) members of the Wayland High School marching band. In Martin, shown here is a glimpse of displays of festive materials inside Martin schools for the Christmas Market and Craft Show. Wayland was preparing for the “Snow Fest” downtown from 5 to 9 p.m.
