Wayland 6th-grader sets 2 running records

Wayland Middle School sixth-grader Maverick Kasprowicz has broken a couple of middle school track records this spring. He beat the Wayland MS record in the 1600-meter run with a time of 5:03..85 a couple of weeks ago. This past week at Houseman Field in Grand Rapids Kasprowicz smashed the 3200-meter record and he is ranked as the fastest sixth grader in the 3200 in the nation with a time of  10:41.53.
