Members of the National Society chapter at Wayland High School held their final breakfast of the academic year Friday. Thirty-six seniors were recognized for their hard work and dedication toward community involvement, and received their hoods for graduation.

The Wayland NHS chapter volunteered a total of 1,163.5 hours throughout the school year. The group also organized and took part in 15 different National Honor Society sponsored group projects that ranged from Hallowed Halls, Project Hope, Holiday Staff Appreciation, Santa’s Elves, Kids Food Basket, Campus Cleanup, and Canvassing for the Bond Committee.

New officers for the 2023-2024 school year are Ava Makowski – president; Brady Cassini – vice president; Jade Barghahn – secretary; Lorelai Jousma – treasurer, and Olivia Stein – public relations.
