Wayland Union Schools has hired Tim Washburn as new transportation supervisor.
Washburn, who will begin duties will start Monday, July 16, succeeds Brenda Kraima, who is retiring after three and a half years at the helm. Kraima’s last day is Tuesday, July 31.
Washburn was a transportation specialist at the Allegan Education Services Agency (AESA) for the past five years. Prior to this he owned a lawn care business in Dorr and worked as a manager at both Metropolitan Hospital Radiology and Genesys Regional Medical Center.
