Wayland High School Business Department awarded 84 Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certifications, an industry-recognized, standards-based credential for validating Microsoft Office skills. The certification is recognized globally by colleges and business as the premier credential for individuals seeking to validate their knowledge, skills and abilities related to the Microsoft Office applications. Students in business and technology and advanced business technology were given the opportunity to exhibit their proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel by learning the skills in class and then completing the 50-minute timed certification test demonstrating their expertise in each program. Wayland High School students received the highest amount of certifications in Allegan County.
