The Wayland Summerfest 2024 faced a couple of challenges Saturday, but seemed to come through them just fine. One challenge was that it was being the same day as the ever-popular Grand Rapids Festival of the Arts. The other arrived in early evening with a rain shower that caused the delay of the band concert downtown.
