Wayland and Plainwell will meet at 6:30 tonight at Hopkins High School to play in the finals of the Division 2 district volleyball tournament.
Wayland swept Otsego in three sets Tuesday night in the semifinals. Hopkins bowed out of the tourney Wednesday evening by losing three of four sets to Plainwell, 25-17, 20-25, 17-25 and 23-25, finishing the season with a 38-18-3 overall record.
For the Lady Vikings, Logan Brummel had 28 assists, Macy Arndt had 9 kills, Meghan Schulz 8, Brummel 7, Ashley Bultema 6, and Brianna Miller 5; Schulz had 4 blocks; Brummel 2 serving aces, and Brummel 25 digs, Hailey Shank 19 and Mikayla Bulich 17.
