Whiskey Sticks are unlike any other pretzel you’ve ever tasted before. It’s perfect for family and friend gatherings, or just plain snacking.
Be prepared to get asked right away to make more.
Whiskey Sticks
Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Place 15 ounces of pretzel sticks on baking sheet pan.
In saucepan add:
1 stick butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon whiskey of your choice
Melt the butter and add the above ingredients stirring until mixture is bubbling around edges of the pan, than pour over the pretzels to evenly coat them. Bake at 250 degrees for 10 minutes, stir, and bake for another 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and cool. Enjoy!
Probably works well for Chex Mix recipes as well.
