The Wayland varsity girls’ tennis team took fifth place out of the seven teams in the O-K Gold Conference tournament Saturday that included four state-ranked teams. East Grand Rapids took first, GR Christian took second and Forest Hills Eastern took third with South Christian taking fourth. Wayland scored 29 points in the tourney and finished the regular season with a 7-5-3 dual match record.
