The Wayland Unio
n High School Orchestras will present its first concert of the season at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 19, in the Fine Arts Center.
“The Genius Concert” will feature music composed by artists who changed the music scene in their generations. Included in this prestigious list are Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, the Beatles, John Williams and Leonard Bernstein.
Also featured on the program will be Wayland graduate Kyle Pitcher (2012’ performing Concerto in G by Dragonetti.
The program will be directed by Karen Nofsinger.
The concert is free and open to the public.
