Wayland High School graduate Liberty Laker, daughter of Kara and Lance Laker, has been a leader on the Grace Christian University Tigers volleyball squad, which made history Thursday night by qualifying for the NCCAA Volleyball Final Four in Joplin, Mo. Laker was a second team all region selection. The Tigers, ranked fifth nationally, continue in play today against Manhattan Christian College, (ranked second nationally) for a chance to play in the national championship game. Grace trailed 11-7 in the fifth set tie break to 15 Thursday night, when Laker re-entered the game and recorded three kills and three blocks in the final points to record and secure a 17-15 win to advance to the final four.
