hope-miklusicakFormer Wayland High School football star Mike Miklusicak picked up 178 yards on 19 carries and two touchdowns Saturday in Hope College’s first victory under new head coach Pete Stuursma. The Flying Dutchmen defeated Concordia (Ill.) 57-28, with former Olivet College and Belding High School coach Irv Sigler getting credit for being the architect of a revamped running game. Miklusicak, a junior at Hope, was a star running back on the Wildcats’ playoff team of 2012. He graduated from Wayland in 2013.
