Sarah Brewer, a 2006 Wayland High School graduate, continues to demonstrate a great deal of skill in cross-country running. Brewer finished first for her team, the Playmakers Elite/New Balance in her age division in the USA Track and Field National Club Cross-Country Championships in San Francisco Saturday. The team came in 27th. She turned in a time of 20:59 for 6,000 meters. Her mother, Sue Brewer, is a retired Wayland teacher and her father, Allen, was varsity golf coach at WHS.
