Wayland High School graduate Sydney Ritz was named to the all-tournament team after the Spring Arbor University volleyball team concluded play at the Siena Heights University Classic Saturday. The Cougars split their final two matches, opening the day with a 3-1 victory over St. Ambrose University before falling to Lindenwood University-Belleville in five sets. Ritz, a basketball and volleyball standout at WHS and a sophomore at Spring Arbor, was one of seven players named to the all-star squad. In four matches, she racked up 45 kills with a .235 hitting percentage.
