Sydney Ritz

Wayland High School graduate Sydney Ritz has been recognized by the Crossroads League coaches for a second consecutive year by earning all-conference second team accolades. After a breakout sophomore campaign at Spring Arbor University, she posted an even better junior season at outside hitter. She notched career-highs in kills (301), hitting percentage (.255), digs (142) and blocks (38). She also ranked top 10 in the league in hitting percentage and kills per set (2.8). Spring Arbor finished the season with an overall record of 17-12 – the most wins in a single-season since 2011. Ritz was a standout volleyball and basketball player for the Lady Wildcats.
