Wayland High School Honors Choir members overcame recent challenges with the Covid pandemic and inclement weather to registers a #1 rating at regional competition to move on to state. Instructor Ricci Sabin said, “With many setbacks related to the weather and Covid, these incredible high school choir students really stepped it up! They had only three days of rehearsals with the accompanist Nate Nardin.” Select Choir received a #2 rating, but only one point away from a 1. “All of the soloists did very well! and two of them are moving on to state,” Sabin said. “Shout out to Ovelia Taylor and Zoe Moore!”
