Wayland varsity and novice debaters competed in the Okemos Debate Tournament Saturday, Oct. 14, at Lansing Community College and were the big winners of the day. Novices took the top four speakers: Samantha Rahm fourth, Eli Merren third,  Maximillian Winkler second, Jamie Murray fst place, as well as receiving and Top Novice award.  Varsity debater Andrea Ivers took 5th place.
