Wayland High School senior Gray VanDerWeide has been working alongside FAC Director Courtney Baareman for the past two years. and has been accepted into the theater program (mainly lighting) at Northern Illinois University. Fo the production of “Almost, Maine” Friday, Saturday and Sunday, she was permitted to design the lighting for the show. “Gray has proven her passion and talent by helping with the lights on many of our shows over that past two years,” said Baareman. “So I have been honored to give her this opportunity. She has done a spectacular job and I look forward to everyone being able to experience it this weekend!”
