WHS soph just misses state bowl finals cut

Wayland High School sophomore Louie Harnish narrowly missed making the cut to the top eight by just 21 pins over six games in his first MHSAA state final appearance.

“This young man peformed very well today, as he only missed one spare (chopped it) unless it was a split or a Greek church,” said coach Sherry Miklusicak. “Louie had 29 strikes, 23 spares, including a big split conversion in his six games.

“Louie made Wayland Union Schools and his coach proud of him today. I can’t wait to see what the next two years has in store for him!”
