WHS Student Council wins awards at state conference

Members of the Wayland High School Student Council enjoyed their time at the MASC/MAHS State Conference last weekend and won many awards. They received the Star School Award, Exceptional Service Project Award and the most difficult one to achieve, the Award of Excellence. Senior Ashlee Kidder was given the Unsung Hero Award and Senior Sarai Yanes was a Student of the Year finalist. Student Council advisor is Nicole Cardosa.
