WHS students raise $3,600 for Wes Leonard Heart Foundation

Wayland High School spent the week creating awareness about the Wes Leonard Foundation and Friday night presented a check for $3,600 for the Wes Leonard Heart Team. The funds will help place Cardiac Science Automated External Defibrillators in Michigan schools. Wes Leonard was a standout Fennville High School basketball player who collapsed after sinking the winning basket in a ballgame several years ago. His mother is in the center of this photo.
