The Wayland High School boys’ varsity bowling team placed third in the region among 13 teams, but needed to take first or second to move on to the state level.

“Our slow start in Baker games hurt today,” explained coach Sherry Miklusicak. “We did have a phenomenal game that included four all-star frames, one of which was all strikes.  

“We struggled with single pin misses again, but gain valuable experience with every tournament.

The Wildcats will be back in action Friday at Spectrum Lanes for the individual regional tourney.
