WHS soccerThe Wayland High School boys’ soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision to Otsego Wednesday evening to bring its overall season record to 0-3.

The Wildcats’ Chuck Wroblewski found the back of the net first on an assist from Tristen Ortiz, but he and his teammates were down 4-1 at halftime.

“The second half was an even match with both teams looking dangerous at points ,but neither were able to add to their side’s tally,” coach Ben Sleeman said.

The Wildcats will open up O-K Gold Conference play next Monday at home as new conference foe Grand Rapids Christian comes to town.
