The Waylaimgnd boys’ varsity basketball team this week remained at No. 4 in the state Class B Associated Press poll.

The Wildcats, now 12-1 for the season overall, have been ranked fourth overall for more than a few weeks in a row since the start of the new year. Defending state champion Wyoming Godwin Heights, also 12-1, remains as the state’s top-ranked squad in Class B. Unfortunately, the Wolverines will be the Wildcats’ opponents in the opening round of the Class B district tournament next month at Grand Rapids South Christian High School.
