The Wayland varsity volleyball team won one of three matches at the Holland Christian Quad Tuesday night.

The Wildcats lost to West Ottawa 25-18 and 26-24 and to state ranked Mattawan 25-16 and 25-15 before beating the host Holland Christian 25-19 and 25-20.

Leading the Wildcats were Taryn Coughlin with 17 kills and 3 aces, Leigha Morse with 44 assists, Sydney Ritz with 17 kills and 11 digs, Lyndie VanMalsen with 24 digs, and Kamie Swan with 13 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 12 digs.
