The Wayland boys’ varsity basketball team earned a 59-44 victory Tuesday evening at Byron Center in a non-league contest.

The triumph lifted the Wildcats’ overall season record to 6-7. In the O-K Gold Conference, they are 2-4.

Both the Wayland girls’ and boys’ teams will be at home Friday night for a doubleheader against league opponent Grand Rapids Christian, beginning at 6 p.m.
