Wildcats defeat Merrill, Harrison to win Evart Invitational

The Wayland varsity baseball team captured the championship trophy Saturday in the Evart Invitational. The Wildcats defeated Merrill 5-4 in ten innings in first game to hand coach Travis Wilcox his 100th career victory.They came back to defeat Harrison 11-0 in the title game.
