The Wayland boys’ varsity basketball team Friday lost a tough 57-53 decision at Grand Rapids Christian.

The Wildcats concluded the regular season with an overall record of 12-8 and they were 6-6 in the O-K Gold Conference standings.

Wayland will begin district tournament play Monday evening at Comstock by playing undefeated Otsego.
