The Wayland High School boys’ varsity tennis team concluded its O-K Gold Conference dual match season with a 1-6 record after suffering losses to Grand Rapids Christian Monday and Middleville Thornapple Kellogg Wednesday.

The Wildcats were blanked 8-0 By Christian and lost 7-1 to Middleville. Triston Richards, at No. 4 singles, was the only individual winner, defeating his TK opponent 6-4, 6-3.

Wayland, which has won two and tied two dual matches this season overall, will play Hamilton in a nonleague contest Wednesday and then will compete Saturday in the O-K Gold Conference meet.
