Word has been received that the Centeville softball tournament Saturday has been canceled because of the recent rainy weather and resultant condition of the fields.

Wayland was scheduled to be one of the teams in the tourney. The Wildcats’ game against Jenison also was called off.

The Wildcats resume their defense of the O-K Gold Conference championship Tuesday. They are 18-4 overall and 6-0 in the league.
