The Wayland varsity baseball team Thursday dropped the rubber game of a three-game series with Middleville Thornapple Kellogg by a score of 11-2.
The Wildcats allowed 15 runners to reach via error or walk, which led to the lopsided victory for the Trojans. Leading the way for the Wildcat offense were Logan Sevigny, Mitch Dykstra and Sean Maddux.
The ‘Cats will be back in action on Saturday, April 23, when they travel to the Denny Richardson Memorial Tournament at Lakewood Lake Odessa High School. Wayland will face Battle Creek Pennfield at 11:30 a.m.
