The Wayland High School boys’ basketball team will play a makeup game at home Saturday evening against non-league opponent Byron Center.

The move comes after all ballgames and classes were called off for an entire week at Wayland, Martin and Hopkins schools. The game originally was scheduled for last Tuesday, Jan. 29.

Wayland has a 9-4 record overall going into the contest.
