Winter: Yogi was right. It’s not over until it’s over

After a substantial amount of time in February and early March without having to shovel their driveways, residents in northeast Allegan County were pummeled Thursday night and Friday morning by up to a foot of snow. Hopkins and Martin schools were closed and Wayland schools were on mid-winter break. Traffic was severely limited, roadways were clogged with white stuff, which was declared heavy by most observers.
