The work in the northeast section of Wayland’s streets appear to be commencing. Park Street and Mill Street are experiencing the final stages of preparation and early stages of paving. Signs along Mill, Elm, Church and Park streets warn motorists about the work being done. Part of the project is being funded by a State of Michigan grant. Brenner Construction won the bidding to perform the resurfacing and paving after years of patchwork over potholes and motorists’ complaints.
