James Wubben drove in four on three hits to lead Hopkins past Calvin Christian 11-1 Wednesday in the O-K Silver Conference opener for both teams.

Wubben drove in runs in the third inning, on a triple in the fourth, and a single in the fifth.
The early lead helped propel the Vikings, who took the lead on a groundout by Brock Eller in the first inning.

Hopkins scored five runs in the fourth inning on a single by Caleb Ryan, a stolen base , a triple by Wubben and a groundout by Ethan Nagel.

Zach Brechting earned the win pitching, working five innings, surrendering one run, one hit and striking out four.
Hopkins collected 15 hits on the day. Wubben, Austin Black, Ryan, Terry Thomas and Eller all collected multiple hits.
