Because of a planned park enhancement project in the Yankee Springs Recreation Area, the modern campground will close from March 15 to July 15 next year, and the day-use area will close intermittently beginning Aug. 1.

The project will not affect the rustic cabins, rustic campground, equestrian campground or group-use campground. 

The enhancement project includes electrical, flooding-drainage and sewer line system upgrades. If the work is completed early, the campground will open for walk-ins. Updates will be periodically posted.
