The Rescue 3 unit at Gun Lake gots its first workout for 2025 season over the weekend when Yankee Springs Township firefighters responded to a report of a parasailer hung up in trees as a result of high winds.
The Yankee Springs personnel were joined by DNR park officers, Barry County Sheriff’s deputies, Barry County Emergency Management and Thornapple Township Emergency Services.
Deputy Chief Dan Miller said the parasailer successfully made it to shore and was not injured.
