Young Pine Street science wizards perform a show and tell

Sixth-graders in Karri BaileGenius Hour (3)y’s class and fifth-graders from Susan Boehm’s class at Pine Street Elementary held their “Genius Hour” presentations Monday in which they were able to choose their own subject matter and have 10 minutes to present it to their class. Topics included science, the London Bridge, bullying prevention, cooking, Marilyn Monroe and how to dye your hair.  The students enjoyed the freedom of selecting something they were passionate about and sharing it with their classmates.
