The Midland University women’s bowling team has repeated as NAIA Conference Champions! The Lady Warriors, coached by former Wayland High School girls’ varsity coach Bill Holbrook, took game five and Ottawa took game 6 to force a championship deciding game 7. The Lady Warriors came out with a spare and 4 strikes in a row to take a big lead that they would not relinquish winning 226-148. Both of Holbrook’s parents, Bill and Sandy Holbrook, are 1964 Wayland High School graduates.
