The Martin boys’ varsity basketball team took advantage of an opportunity for revenge Monday night in the opening round of the Division 4 post-season tournament.
The Clippers, who lost to Zion Christian 47-40 last Thursday, turned the tables by posting a 52-45 victory in the tourney opener. The win lifted their overall season record to 6-15. Zion Christian’s season ended with a 9-11 overall mark.
Martin now will play tournament host Climax-Scotts Wednesday evening in the semifinal round.
