A lot of local sports enthusiasts may have been surprised this past week by the announcement by Kami Morse that she will attend Aquijnas College in Grand Rapids to play volleyball.
The choice of school is no mystery. Her older sister Leigha was a catcher for the Saints, so there’s a history there.
The surprise was the aport. Though regarded as a fine volleyball player, Kami Morse has earned a reputation as a standout on the Wayland softball team for the past four years.
However, word n the street is that she is going to be ambitious and play both sports at Aquinas.
