So that’s a wrap win the O-K Gold Conference softball season, and to the surprise of no one, Wayland polished off as perfect record Wednesday afternoon with a 15-0 rout of South Christian. Hopkins native Bill Gilligan dies at 83 in Kalamazoo

William D. Gilligan, a native of Hopkins, died Sunday, May 19, at Rose Arbor Hospice in Kalamazoo. He was 83.  He was born May 3, 1941, in Hopkins, the son of Walter and Georgia (Flynn) Gilligan. As a young man, Bill worked as a skilled mechanic at Stryker, retiring after 55 years.  In his free
