WAEMS Board working on 5-year restructuring plan

The Wayland Area Emergency Services ambulance operations are the busiest ever and personnel are scrambling to keep up with costs and demands. Lady Viking bowlers still unbeaten in conference

The Hopkins girls’ varsity bowling team continues to roll undefeated in the O-K Silver Conference. The Lady Vikings defeated Kent City on a non-league dual match Monday and then bested Belding Wednesday. The girls beat Belding for the second time, leaving their record still undefeated. The boys struggled, leaving Belding’s boys leading their conference undefeated.
