Wayland seems to have a rich history of bowling prowess, not just this year, but throughout the last two decades. Shown in the cover photo is former Wayland man Doug Cutler (at right in photo) and his Indiana Tech Wolverine-Hoosier Conference champion girls’ team, which last year won the National Intercollegiate Athletic Association (NAIA) title. Interestingly, another former Wayland coach, Bill Holbrook has had plenty of success at the collegiate level and former state champion Sydney Urben rolled with the Mount Mercy squad. Furthermore, Wayland claimed two of the top three slots in the individual tournament last year with Bella Harnish and Kadence Bottrall.
