Wayland High School senior Amber Beggs finished 48th in a field of 60 bowlers in the qualifying round of the state tournament at Century Bowl in Waterford last weekend. Beggs, in concluding her prep career, rolled a 147m 132, 206, 143, 167 and 180 in her six games. She had qualified for the state Division 2 tourney the week before in regional competition.
