Perhaps there are many who believe the Weber Hopkins hoops family will be entirely broken up after this season. They’d be wrong.
While senior Drew and junior Colin were leading Hopkins on the home court against Schoolcraft Tuesday evening, freshman sister Mady led the scoring parade for the Viking girls in their second straight blowout victory.
Hopkins beat Tri-Unity Christian 64-34, led by Weber with 13 points and 8 rebounds. Junior Kara Noble finished with 8 points and 8 rebounds and sophomore Maya Kerber also chipped in with 8 points.
The Lady Vikings, who were coming off a 44-22 triumph in their opener against Potter’s House last Friday, now are 2-0 on the season overall.
