The Wayland girls’ varsity basketball team lifted its overall season record to 7-4 Tuesday evening by posting a 38-33 victory over Middleville Thornapple Kellogg.
The Lady Wildcats now are 4-2 in O-K Gold Conference action.
The boys’ squad also recorded a triumph over TK, 69-50, to improve its overall record to 3-6. It was the Wildcats’ first win over an O-K Gold Conference opponent this season.
Both the Wildcat boys’ and girls’ teams will continue league action Friday evening with games at Forest Hills Eastern.
