Both the Wayland and Hopkins varsity football teams will play their second game of the season Thursday evening against non-conference opponents, but Martin will play Friday against Lawrence.

The Wildcats will take the field at home against Holland Christian, a team they defeated a year ago on the road. Hopkins will travel to Allendale for its virtually annual non-league rivalry contest.
